About us

We are a small congregation of approximately 50 members.

We are non-denominational Christians who desire to go back to the Bible and follow the original pattern of New Testament Christianity. We seek to be simply Christians and to identify ourselves with the early church as the Bible describes it. We are mindful of that heritage and use the New Testament as our guide for our organization, our doctrine and our worship.  We make no claim at perfection; we rely on the grace of a loving and almighty God.

We are convinced that the purpose of the church is to glorify God by saving the lost, strengthening the saved and serving the world. As New Testament Christians, our confidence rests in the grace of God and our hope in the power of God.

The central part of the worship is the eating of the Lord's Supper (Acts 20:7). We break bread every week in remembrance of that day in Calvary.

West Mains church of Christ has been a part of the community since August 2001.  We consider ourselves blessed to be part of the local community and have met many friends over the years.  You are welcome to visit our services and worship with us as soon and as often as possible. Please come along and join us giving thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour.

If you are looking for a church in the East Kilbride area, we hope you will consider worshiping with us. We are a Bible-based, nondenominational church, and our whole heart is focused on fulfilling Christ’s mission to the world – seeking and saving the lost, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, and serving our community. No matter where you are in your spiritual walk, you will feel welcome at the West Mains Church of Christ. Come join us in this journey towards God.

Our aim is to serve the Lord in all that we do.

You will be made most welcome
